Does Lori have the authority to perform legal marriages in Ontario?
Absolutely yes! Reverend Lori Lytle is a duly ordained Minister of the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry and has been registered by the Ontario Department of Vital Statistics to perform weddings. You can look her up here.
What is the booking confirmation process?
To confirm your booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. This can be paid by Etransfer to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you prefer to pay by credit card, please request an invoice.
what if we need to change our wedding date or time?
Contact Lori by email to request a date or time change. If Lori has the new date/time available she will simply change the date/time and re-reserve it under the new one. However, if Lori is already obligated for the new date/time and is unable to officiate the wedding on the new date/time, it will be considered a cancellation and the initial security deposit is forfeited.
Does Lori handle all the paperwork?
The happy couple MUST get their own marriage license, and bring it with them to the wedding ceremony. Lori will handle all the paperwork and signing on the day of the ceremony, and then she will send your marriage license in to be registered with Service Ontario. This can take up to 10 weeks, after which time the couple can order a copy of their Marriage Certificate from Service Ontario here.
How long is the ceremony usually?
The length of the ceremony can vary as you wish. Lori's basic ceremony takes about 10 to 15 minutes. You may add additional ceremonial aspects, readings, poems as you wish. Lori is happy to help you craft your personalized ceremony via unlimited Skype and/or email. Lori is committed to helping you create a ceremony that truly reflects the two of you as a couple, one that you are comfortable and completely happy with.
Does lori perform same-sex weddings?
Absolutely, yes! Lori is a strong supporter of same-sex marriages, and approaches them with the same love and care as all of her ceremonies.
What kind of wedding ceremonies does Lori perform?
Lori's services include multi-faith, multi-cultural, and same sex weddings, she honours and respects the traditions and wishes of the clients she serves. Lori doesn't push any kind of agenda and she is completely inclusive in her outlook and approach.
What is the refund policy?
The deposit is non-refundable once date is booked. If you must change the date or time of your wedding it will be rescheduled on the new date or time if it is available. If your new date or time is not available, the change will be considered a cancellation and you will forfeit the deposit. Any amount paid in addition to the 50% deposit will be refunded up to 15 days before the ceremony. For cancellations within 14 days of the wedding date, there will be no refund, and 100% of the payment will be forfeited.
